Lauren Staub is well-versed in tax compliance and business advisory solutions, specializing in federal compliance and accounting for income tax provision standards. She was drawn to TaxOps by reputation and the opportunity to dive deeper into all aspects of tax and help clients optimize their tax function.
Lauren’s experience includes managing sophisticated public and multinational company issues around ASC-740, valuation allowances, and uncertain tax positions. In this complicated realm of tax, she works closely with corporate clients and teams to meet project goals and brings technical strengths and ideas that lead to more efficient processes and delivery methods.
She began her career with Ernst & Young before moving into private industry at software cybersecurity company Webroot, which has subsequently been acquired by Carbonite, a public company. Just prior to joining TaxOps, Lauren worked at a mid-tier accounting firm in Denver, assisting clients with provisions and compliance as well as working through M&A complexities.
Lauren is a CPA licensed in Colorado and holds both a master’s degree in accounting and tax and a bachelor’s of business administration from Colorado State University. In her time off, you can find Lauren outdoors, with a camera, hiking, or snowboarding, attending sporting events of her favorite teams?Denver sports, Iowa Hawkeyes, and the Chicago Cubs?and spending time with family, friends, and her dog Maple.
