This CPE event provides an overview of tax updates for the 2023 tax filing year and what is new for 2024. Presentations address updates on tax concerns specific to corporations, individuals and the State of Colorado.

Allen Gregory, Partner at TaxOps, has been providing business tax and advisory services to corporations and flow-through entities for over 25 years. He has significant experience in tax outsourcing and has successfully represented clients in tax controversy and abatement matters. Allen founded AG Tax and Consulting in Golden, CO, which merged with TaxOps in 2019. He is passionate about delivering hands-on, customized tax solutions to dynamic businesses from formation to liquidation, including entity selection, operating agreements, and income tax accounting for alternative investments. Allen is a frequent speaker for the Colorado Real Estate Journal and teaches real estate taxation for the National Association for Industrial and Office Parks (NAIOP). Allen will present the Corporate update.

Kristina Kesselring has more than 25 years of public accounting experience. Among providing expert tax (partnership/corporation/non‐profit/individual), accounting (payroll/sales tax /monthly accounting) and consulting (tax planning/budgeting) services, she has demonstrated a niche in estate, trust, and gift taxes. Numerous years of experience contribute to many other areas of expertise, including real estate, construction, restaurant, agricultural, manufacturing, oil and gas operations, investment business compliance, and tax preparation. In addition to running a small tax practice, Kristina is a full-time assistant professor at Metropolitan State University-Denver where she teaches the new generation all about the wonders of taxation. Kristina will present the Individual and Colorado updates.
